"High-order accurate kinetic-energy and entropy preserving (KEEP) schemes on curvilinear grids" published in Journal of Computational Physics. The proposed high-order accurate KEEP schemes achieve very stable and non-dissipative computations by preserving the total kinetic energy and total entropy, even on a largely distorted computational grid.

turbulent boundary layers at supercritical pressure where large density fluctuations are induced by the pseudo-boiling phenomena.

Our group has been extensively working on the high-fidelity DNS and LES studies of various turbulent flows, such as separated turbulent boundary layers,
shock-boundary layer interaction, transonic airfoil buffet, airfoil stall phenomena, turbulent boundary layers at supercritical pressures, etc., using
supercomputer K (10 Peta FLOPS computer).
To make full use of our DNS and LES database, the turbulence database have been made open at our Flow Database.
Currently, the wall-resolved LES database of A-airfoil near stall condition at Re_c = 2.1E6 by
Asada & Kawai, Physics of Fluids (2018) have been open.
